Step 1: Draw a pot
We will first start by drawing a pot. This is very simple. Draw a circle and make it narrower on the top. Instead of closing the circle with a curve on the top, draw a straight line. Your pot is ready. Now you need to draw Pongal.
Pongal, also known as Huggi, is a famous South Indian rice dish. "Pongal" means "bubbling up" in Tamil. It is a meal made of rice, boiling milk, and sugar. Huggi is a corruption of the Old Kannada word Puggi, which means "bubbled up, inflated." Pongal is classified into two types: sweet chakarai Pongal and venn Pongal, which is prepared from clarified butter. Pongal is a typical morning dish that mainly refers to spicy venn Pongal. During the Pongal celebration, chakarai Pongal is prepared.

Step 5: Add sugarcane
Sugarcane is very essential in a Pongal festival. On the right-hand side, we will draw two sugarcane sticks. To draw sugarcane, we will draw two lines next to each other. Inside this, draw various horizontal lines at an equal distance. On the top of the sugarcane, draw the leaves. Towards the left of the pot, draw various leaves. Using a light pencil, shade all over the drawing.
Step 6: Draw a body of a cow

Once you have drawn the cow, add a few accessories. Add decorative pearls on the head and a bell. Cover the cow with a royally decorated cloth. You can decorate the cloth however you like it.
